Former gm bids final farewell

Late Tuesday night, the shocking news came down that Kirby was resigning from team do to reasons not known. Shortly after veteran mhall took over the team and kirby said he couldn't of been happier.

"It's sad to leave and know that you couldn't accomplish what you came here to do. I feel like I'm leaving this team in the best position. It has depth. Good depth that could put this team where I feel it can be. Mhall knows what to do and he's one of the best at this and I'm sure the Dodgers will win the World Series in the upcoming years. Overall, this has been one of the best times in my gming career. The fans are great, the city was great, and most importantly the players were great."

When asked if he would consider coming back into gming or what is other options were he said this.

"You know, I'm looking at all possible options. I got some offers out there that when I feel the appropiate time, I will take. I'm not naming the teams, but some co-gms positions are out there and I'm looking at all options. I'm even looking at hanging it up for good, but it just doesn't feel like it's that time yet. I feel I still have what it takes to lead a team to my ultimate goal to win a World Series. I never have won a world series and I want to at least complete that goal before I hang it up."

"I'd like to thank Scotty, Dj, Jordan, and hokey for putting on a great league. Every thing was done smoothly and right. It's about time leadership is done right in this country."
