Note: I will not be using the single season simulator.
NL East:1. Florida: They just have too much pitching for anyone to contend with them this year in the NL East
2. Washington: I think this is the year they break through finally.
3. Atlanta: They will try and make a run for it with their starting pitching but won't have enough to contend this year. Look out for them next year.
4. New York Mets: The mets will slowly start to fade from contending in the NL East. They will have to rebuild in 1 or 2 years.
5. Philadelphia Phillies: They are rebuilding. What else can I say?
NL Central:
1.Chicago Cubs: What is slowing them down this year? They have everything necessary to win another World Series championship.
2. Houston Astros: Will the injury bug hit them again for the second straight year? I think it does. They fall just short of a wildcard berth.
3. Pittsburgh Pirates: They have pretty good pitching but I'm not sure about their hitting. I'm just waiting for Stanczak to have a season ending injury again.
4. St. Louis Cardinals: If their pitching holds up they will have a legit chance to finish 3rd in their division.
5. Cincinnati Reds: Their specs are still developing so don't expect them to contend until 2022 or 2023.
6. Milwaukee Brewers: This might be their year to finish 5th instead of 6th because of their young pitching and young hitting. Don't expect anything big from them just yet.
NL West:
1. Colorado Rockies: Gonna be a battle till the end between Colorado and Arizona. They have the hitting to win the division and a pretty damn good bullpen.
2. Arizona Diamondbacks: They could make a run for it but I think they just fall short.
3. San Fran Giants: They will probably be in the race till the All star break but will fade quickly.
4. Los Angeles Dodgers: Don't expect this team to contend this year.
5. San Diego Padres: Unless something miraculous happens don't expect them to contend this year.
AL East:
1. New York Yankees: They are the defending World Series champions. Don't expect them to falter this year and lose the division.
2. Toronto Blue Jays: They could easily win the division this year but they won't.
3. Tampa Bay Rays: Gonna be contending for 3rd, 4th, and 5th places.
4. Baltimore Orioles: Gonna be contending for 3rd, 4th, and 5th places.
5. Boston Red Sox: Gonna be contending for 3rd, 4th, and 5th places.
AL Central:
1. Chicago White Sox: This team has it all, pitching, hitting, everything. Expect them to make a deep run in the playoffs this year. I also think they will make another big move.
2. Minnesota Twins: Gonna be going back and forth (the white sox and twins) this year but the White Sox pull away in September.
3. Detroit Tigers: They will finish a distant 3rd behind Minny and Chicago. Not enough Pitching.
4. Kansas City Royals: I don't think they have the pitching to contend in this division.
5. Cleveland Indians: With rumors of them rebuilding, expect them to finish last in the strong AL Central.
AL West:
1. Texas Rangers: They make the playoffs then get swept out.
2. Oakland Athletics:This whole division sucks so it will come down to the last sim of the year.
3. Los Angeles Angels: This whole division sucks.
4. Seattle Mariners: We are rebuilding.
Florida vs. Colorado: Florida just has too much pitching.
Chicago Cubs vs. Washington Nationals: The cubs are just too good for anyone this year.
New York Yankees vs. Texas Rangers: First round bye for the Yanks.
Chicago White Sox vs. Toronto Blue Jays: Chicago squeaks by because of their pitching.
Florida vs. cubs: The cubs will not lose two straight years.
Chicago White Sox vs. New York Yankees: The Yankees will not win it all in back to back years.
Chicago Cubs vs. Chicago White Sox: This is the chicago/chicago World Series everyone has been waiting for. The Chicago White Sox will bring home their first FCM World Series Title.
