Scotty's 2015 FCM Award Predictions

American League General Manager of the Year:
BurnedStang DET - I really like some of the moves he made at the 2014 trade deadline and this off-season. Most notably: Adam Mertens, and signing players like Lars Anderson and Greg Halman to long-term deals. While their pitching leaves much to be desired after Yovani Gallardo, I wouldn't be surprised to see Detroit contend or even take the AL Central in 2015 with a move or two at the deadline.

American League Most Valuable Player: Jeff Anderson TOR - Just look at those vitals!
Predicted stats: .330 BA, 35 HRs, 120 RBI, .410 OBP 0 E's

American League Cy Young Winner: Aoi Kami LAA - That control is unbelievable. Who would have thought that the first midget in the MLB would be so successful!
Predicted stats: 18-7, 2.60 ERA, 150 K's, 35BB's

American League Rookie of the Year: Ramon Castillo NYY - The big question with Castillo is will he stay healthy. If he does so, look for a very solid season out of the Cuban.
Predicted Stats: .340 BA, 20 HRs, 100 RBI, .400 OBP

American League Comeback Player of the Year: Hanley Ramirez BOS - After a very sub-par 2014, look for Hanley to bounce back in a big way after receiving his huge 105M dollar contract in the off-season.
Predicted Stats: .300 BA, 22 HRs, 90 RBI, .370 OBP

American League Rolaids Relief Pitcher of the Year: Joe Smith CLE - What can I say, the man is solid.
Predicted Stats: 2.5 ERA, 40 SVs, .190 OBA

National League General Manager of the Year: Corey NYM - Corey gets this award for not making many moves at all. Not making any trades in the off-season speaks volumes. He let some of his young guys (Rafael Rodriguez, Gustavo Gazivoda) develop. NYM is my pick to lose to SFG in the NLCS :D

National League Most Valuable Player: Taylor Teagarden HOU - The next Astro to take home the award.
Predicted stats: .300 BA, 40 HRs, 130 RBI, .380 OBP

National League Cy Young Winner: Edgar Vaio SFG - Wow, so many good pitchers on SFG! That GM must be a freakin genius! If Edgar can stay healthy and throw 160+ IP then he should have no problems throwing up great numbers.
Predicted stats: 20-5, 2.70 ERA, 100 K's, 20 BBs

National League Rookie of the Year: Akimoto Koharu HOU - A highly coveted IFA in the off-season, Koharu progressed greatly in Spring Training and should have no problem taking home the ROY.
Predicted Stats: .290 BA, 30 HRs, 100 RBI

National League Comeback Player of the Year: Jose Iglesias FLA - A batting average under .300??? Preposterous! Look for Iglesias to bounce back big time in 2015.
Predicted stats: .350 Ba, 15 HRs, 95 RBI, .410 OBP

National League Rolaids Relief Pitcher of the Year: Francisco Rodriguez NYM - Frankie the wife beater is steady eddy in the baseball world. Look for another solid year out of this thug...
Predicted stats: 2.8 ERA, 40 SV, 85K
