Twins GM Quits

Minnesota - The Twins GM BaseballFan quit the Twins organization after the Spring Training stating that he didn't have time to be apart of the Twins. The Twins seem to be in pretty good shape going into the 2040 season and hopefully they can preform as good as they are on paper.

The Twins Get a new GM

The Minnesota Twins have reported that they have given there GM job to  BaseballFan.
In 2040 the Twins came in second place in the AL Central with a record of 95-67. In the Last 10 Years the Twins haven't been too good as they have only had 3 winning seasons out of 10. But recently the Twins have really became a great team getting three Nighty plus win seasons in a row.
It will be interesting to see the direction the Twins head to with the Guidance of BasebllFan.

BREAKING NEWS: Newly Appointed GM of Twins Found Beaten Half to Death in Philadelphia Parking Lot

Wednesday, July 16th, 2030 6:47 am
Philadelphia, PA

- Twins General Manager MstrPR was rushed to Philadelphia General Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday morning after being found beaten to a pulp at a Philadelphia gas station parking lot. He is said to be in serious condition, suffering from 4 broken ribs, a dislocated clavicle, 2 fractured wrists, an ACL tear, punctured lung and internal bleeding, but should be back to work in time for the trade deadline.

At about midnight on the 16th of July, MstrPR was enjoying a night out on the town with some old college buddies. As they made their way out of their final club destination at about 3 am, MstrPR insisted he was sober enough to drive himself to his hotel, and after a few dents into the door, MstrPR was able to plop himself into the drivers seat, fasten the seat belt and began his journey. As he pulled up to a traffic light, he noticed his gas tank just about on empty. Figuring to kill two birds with one stone, he pulled into the nearest gas station and asked the teller to "fill this bitch up". As he waited, 5 men in a black SUV pulled up along side the 1998 Honda Civic, and proceeded to drag MstrPR out of the vehicle. Using Nintendo Wii bats, ply wood and the old fashioned elbow grease, they pulverized the GM, dragging him 120 feet out of bystander sight, and continued to beat him for 15 minutes. After finishing him off with some saliva, they jumped into the SUV and sped away, leaving the bell hopping GM motionless and left for dead. Paramedics arrived just in time to stop the bleeding. Three minutes later and MstrPR would be as much history as 40/40.

It is uncertain what the motive was, but according to some sources the incident may be connected to MstrPR's infamous reign as the GM of the beloved Philadelphia Phillies, where his handy work led to a decade of disparity and embarrassment in Philly. The masses were calling for his head, but after 12 seasons one would think the fan base would have thrown the past behind them, right? WRONG!! MstrPR had never returned to the Philadelphia area since his brutal departure, and thinking all was forgotten, he naively decided to spend a weekend at a famous Philadelphia hotel. Other reports have surfaced that MstrPR has a security team of 65 men monitoring him, just in case any of the Philadelphia born nurses or doctors get any ideas to finish the job.

In a humorous but cruel twist, the Phillies have announced that tonight's game will consist of wack-a-GM arcade battles all over Citizens Bank Park. Fans will be given 5 minutes to "wack" the MstrPR looking moles with Nintendo Wii bats and there is set to be a night of fun for the entire fan base as tonight's game has been sold out, the first Philly sell out in 6 years. The Phillies should show the brotherly love where it's due and pay for MstrPR's medical expenses with the money raised by the arcade. His beat down alone brought more revenue to the team than their cable contract. Just goes to show, when you see a guy who makes mistakes, you shouldn't get mad as a fan. Do as the Philadelphians, beat the shit out of who is in charge!

Things get a little hot in the Al Central

Things were heated last week between GM of the Twins William Heaney (Right) and GM of the Royals Big Mikey Sweet (Left). The words started when Heaney inquired about KC's DP's for sale. Sweet told Heaney that he had two separate offers in the works for the picks (KC's 2nd-6th 22nd overall) and would be receiving $ 15 mil cash for all 5 picks. Heaney then offered sweet $16 mil cash for all 5 picks which Mike countered with $20 Mil for all 5. Heaney then countered with $ 17 Mil for all 5 picks telling the Royals that was the max the Twins could afford. Mike countered with $18 mil and RP Nathan Eovali. After the last offer from Sweet the sparks began to fly as Heaney told Sweet that his last offer was worse then the offer before. Heaney continued to say he did not want a useless RP who was still owed $5.04 Mil for the rest of the year. Sweet took offense to Will calling Eovali useless and thought he is still a solid pitcher. Mike also told Will that because he was in the same division he would have to pay a premium for the picks. Heaney told Mike that he felt the extra $ 2 mil he would receive was more then enough to composite for being in the same division and that Mike should take the best offer for his team. Then yesterday things got worse as we caught up with Heaney and he had this to say " Mike is a gutless GM with absolutely no respect for his peers. I don't know how he gets away with the way he runs his club over there in KC". Later Sweet shot back with this " The way i run my team ha, ask Will how many trips to the playoffs he has made since taking over the Twins". Later in the day Heaney replies to Mike comments "All that guy does is just piss people off, Ask DJ GM of the Astros and see what he thinks of Mike ? Mike let hes team get old fast and will now pay the price for his reckless managing." Heaney also added "We will see who will finish atop the AL central, i guarantee you it will not be the Royals". The next time these 2 teams face eachother is May 4th for a small 2 game series. We will see how hot things will get when the Royals come to town.

Twins set for new era

Minnesota Twins announced on Friday that there search for a new GM was over. William Heaney (Mad_Trapper) will now be in charge of taking the Twinkies back to the promise land. Heaney was with the Cubs organization at the time of his hiring and had this to say. "I would like to thank Sean and the Cubs for getting me started and ready for this opportunity. The Cubs are a first class organization and i wish them the best of luck to win the NL Central." Some issues facing Heaney are the Twins bloated payroll and there weak bullpen. When asked what his first move will be Heaney said " We will be cutting payroll and sadly some fan favorites may be on the move, but thats baseball." Will was also asked what he thinks of battling life long friend and arch Mogul rival Mike Sweet of the Royals. "Should be fun and keep us both competitive in a competitive AL Central." Time will tell how things work out for the Twins but one thing is for sure, they are set for a new era.
